Denver Seminar for New IRS Problem Resolution Attorneys a Resounding Success
Picture this. A room of 50 attorneys/paralegals most of whom have no experience whatsoever in the IRS niche. They came to Denver, Colorado to learn what they needed to know to begin representing clients with IRS Problems. It would be impolite to say how much they paid, but it was a considerable amount of money, to learn from me, Tampa Tax Attorney, Darrin T. Mish. I opened up my case files (with client identities protected of course) to teach them the ins and outs of IRS representation.
Know this, it was no simple seminar. These guys and gals came to learn hardcore cutting edge techniques for the resolution of IRS Problems. It wasn't like I gave them easy fact patterns to make them feel good.
Day One
Probably over 80% of these professionals have never handled an IRS case. They had no idea what to do when an IRS problem client came into the office. We spent 8 hours going over the ins and outs of IRS Problem representation and I left their heads spinning. But here's a little secret. I could tell that stuff was sticking in their heads. I had faith in them and faith in the system of teaching that I have created. I knew this group would make the cut. On Monday, they would be in their offices helping normal taxpayers like you and me with their problems with the IRS. I was more than a little excited.
Day Two
Well….day one was mostly me and day two is mostly them. What I mean by that is that is that Day Two is all Case Studies. I give the group real life fact patterns and they have to come up with the BEST solution to solve it. As normal, in the morning it was a bit rocky but after lunch these new IRS tax tigers came alive! They were coming up with the solution to problems within 5 minutes! I was prouder than a daddy at a kindergarten graduation. This group was definitely going to make it. Heck they weren't just going to make it, they were going to become fire breathing IRS Problem Resolution animals! I was so proud and so fulfilled.
P.S. In case any of the attendees read this, I really am proud of your progress. Go get them. The sky's the limit. YOU can do whatever you set your mind to.
