I read an interesting news story the other day on the way to Los Angeles for business. It was actually about a man so distraught over his IRS Problems and a looming foreclosure that he finally decided the ultimate in bad judgment. He decided to end his own life. Unfortunately, he also killed his wife and four children before committing suicide. I want it to be clear that I think that that was an absolutely horrible decision. One should never resort to violence no matter how impossible the situation seems. But clearly this man was in pain, and likely mentally ill.

The point of today's post and video is to let you know that there is hope out there. There is no need to take drastic actions such as this person did. Yet almost daily we get calls from despondent taxpayers ready to do harm to themselves. If you feel this way, call the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline at (800) 273-TALK. Speak with a loved one, your minister, your priest, your rabbi or your iman. You don't need to contemplate the end. You simply need help. There are definite, concrete solutions to IRS Problems and none of them involve hurting yourself or anyone else.
