Singer Omarion, whose real name is Omari Ismael Grandberry has unpaid taxes amounting to $110,585, according to the IRS. These tax debts stretch back to 2003. The singer has not paid his taxes in 2003, 2005 and 2006.

Ever since last year, the IRS has been filing liens on his properties. In August 2009, the IRS filed a lien for $49,715 at the Los Angeles County Recorder of Deeds. Then in October last year, a lien for $25,660 was filed, and again in May this year, the IRS filed another lien for $35,210 in Orange County.

The lien in Orange County listed his property in Ladera Ranch, California worth $1.5 million, a featured home in one of the episodes of ‘MTV Cribs’.

Omarion filed for bankruptcy in January this year but his case was subsequently dismissed. The singer isn’t the only celebrity of late getting into trouble with the IRS. others include rapper Young Buck, music producer Swiss Beatz (who married Alicia Keys this year), Diddy, and Wyclef Jean.

A podiatrist in Chicago who practices with the Midwest Physicians Group in Orland Park and the Preferred Podiatry Group in Northbrook, has been charged with four counts of failing to file tax returns, four counts of evading taxes and one count of obstructing the IRS in their duties. These charges arise from his failure to pay taxes on about $1.8 million in inheritance and income.

Dr. Randy L. Pachnik, 62, surrendered to the authorities and appeared in US Federal court to plead not guilty to the charges against him.

Dr. Pachnik, who practices in Orland Park and Northbrook, is accused of using two companies called Rama Enterprises and Western Enterprises to receive payment for his services. According to the US Attorney’s office, these two companies were then used to hide the income earned.

The Midwest Physicians Group has since been taken over by Advocate Medical Group. Strangely, the staff workers at the former Midwest Physicians Group have not heard of Dr. Pachnik but those at the Preferred Podiatry Group have.

Dr. Pachnik will attend court again Nov 3 for a status hearing.
